SiteMinder is seeking a Software Engineer for their team in Manila.

The Software Engineer will work on backend development to build and enhance products using a cloud-based microservices architecture.
Responsibilities include refining, designing, and delivering product requirements, working in an agile methodology, and participating in planning.
The role involves writing clean, well-organized code and making trade-offs between performance, robustness, and extensibility.
Required experience includes Node.js (mandatory) and Kotlin (desirable), front-end frameworks like Vue.js or React.js, AWS experience, database technologies, code testability, build pipelines, Docker, CI/CD systems, and staying updated with best practices and technologies.
The Software Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Requirements:
Experienced in Node.js (mandatory) and Kotlin (desirable) for backend development.
Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Vue.js or React.js.
Proficiency in AWS services like EC2, Kinesis, SQS, ElastiCache, Lambda, and S3.
Competent in database technologies including RDMS like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and/or NoSQL like DynamoDB, Cassandra, MongoDB.
Understanding of code testability, build pipelines, Docker, and CI/CD systems.
Ability to work independently on user stories from inception to production with a cross-functional mindset.
