Description:

  • As a software engineer at ClearBank, you will work on critical work streams such as high-impact feature deliverables, performance enhancements, and refactoring to support 10x scale.
  • You will actively contribute to the code base, provide technical input, and at times, technical direction.
  • Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing a self-service platform, defining Kubernetes resources, establishing GitOps practices, mentoring junior team members, exploring and adopting new technologies, and participating in continuous improvement activities.
  • The role involves working with C#, SQL, Messaging, GitOps methodologies, testing methodologies, microservices architecture, event-driven architecture, and the Clearbank platform technology stack.
  • Desirable qualifications include experience in financial services and a proactive approach to problem, incident, and risk management.

Requirements:

  • Strong software development experience in C# (Framework, 6 and 8), SQL, Messaging
  • Hands-on experience working with GitOps methodologies and tooling
  • Experience of testing methodologies such as Unit, Integration, End to End, and Contract Testing
  • Experience with microservices architecture, event-driven architecture, and related patterns
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Hands-on knowledge of the Clearbank platform technology stack: Terraform, Azure cloud services, Kubernetes, Helm, Azure DevOps Yaml pipeline and templates, Docker
  • Proven experience in a Platform environment working with a product-first mindset
