Remote Software Engineer

Description:

• Synergex is looking for a Software Engineer to enhance development environments for customers using Synergy DBL by integrating tools like compilers, debuggers, IntelliSense, and MSBuild in Visual Studio.
• Responsibilities include developing and maintaining Visual Studio integration features in C#, diagnosing and resolving tool issues, collaborating with teams, building automated tests, supporting UI automation testing, improving build and deployment pipelines, participating in code reviews, and interfacing with customers.
• The role involves documenting technical processes, writing user guides, and ensuring customer requirements are met for Synergy DBL applications.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in C# and .NET, experience with Visual Studio or similar IDEs, understanding of MSBuild or other build automation tools.
• Familiarity with automated testing techniques, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication for collaboration, and troubleshooting.
• Nice-to-haves include a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, experience with MSBuild or PowerShell, 3+ years of software development experience, familiarity with Visual Studio Extensibility, cloud environments, infrastructure as code tools, Synergy DBL language, and modern development tools.
