Remote Software Engineer

Description:

• The Software Engineer at Breeze Airways is responsible for developing and implementing web-based software services for the airline, handling issues of varying complexity.
• They will work on both front-end and back-end tasks, writing clean code, testing, and fixing bugs.
• Collaboration with data scientists and analysts to enhance software performance is essential.
• The role involves working as part of a development team, conducting requirement analysis, documenting technical specifications, and debugging code.
• Continuous learning is required to keep up with evolving technology and programming languages.
• The position also involves recommending product enhancements based on user feedback and maintaining documentation.

Requirements:

• A 4-year degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience, including Boot Camp completion, is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant job experience or sufficient Boot Camp experience is necessary.
• Authorization to work in the US as per the Immigration Reform Act of 1986 is mandatory.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, time management skills, and ability to work well under pressure are essential.
• Self-starter with a positive attitude, high performance orientation, and a strong desire for success.
• Ability to complete projects on time with minimal supervision and work varied hours when needed to meet deadlines.
