Description:
Visana Health is a virtual women's health clinic focused on providing comprehensive medical care and support for women throughout their lives.
The Software Engineer will be part of the product engineering team, contributing to the technology platform that supports Visana's mission.
Responsibilities include front end or full stack development of software features, collaborating with user experience professionals, product owners, and other teams to enhance business capabilities.
The role involves continuous improvement of the platform, managing software quality, and driving automated testing and user acceptance testing.
Participation in an agile team to deliver technology products and implement programs is also required.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 1-4 years of experience in building modern web applications from inception to delivery.
Experience with modern web application frameworks and technologies is necessary.
A passion for automated testing is required.
Experience in a continuous delivery environment is essential.
A security-minded approach to protecting healthcare-related data is needed.
Familiarity with containers and serverless cloud technologies is expected.
Previous experience with TypeScript, React, and AWS is preferred.
Experience in the healthcare industry is also preferred.
Candidates should be passionate about high-quality, scalable code and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving company.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with individuals at all levels of the company are essential.
