Remote Software Engineer

Description:

• Lawelawe Defense is seeking a Software Engineer to play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between users' needs and technological execution.
• Responsibilities include performing high-level systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation of complex applications.
• The candidate will participate in all phases of system development, emphasizing planning, analysis, evaluation, integration, testing, and acceptance.
• They will apply business or technical principles to solve difficult technical problems and design technical reports and documentation.
• Additional responsibilities include building front-end applications, translating legacy apps, developing APIs, testing software, and troubleshooting issues.
• The candidate will work with customers to enhance existing software and be an active participant in the Agile development process.

Requirements:

• BA/BS in a related field with 5-8 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 5-7 years of experience using C# and Microsoft Web Forms, MVC, .NET Core/ .NET 6+, and .NET 4.x Framework.
• Experience with Angular 13.x+ for Single-Page Application (SPA) architecture and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Proficiency in debugging web applications using Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Must be a US Citizen and possess an active CompTIA Security+ or have the ability to obtain one.
• Must have a SECRET clearance or have the ability to obtain one, with at least an interim SECRET to begin work on the contract.
