Description:

Granicus is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer 4 to support the migration of a .NET web application to Angular.
This role is ideal for a software developer who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality, scalable, and efficient solutions.
As a key member of the development team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain robust code while ensuring optimal application performance and responsiveness.
Responsibilities include contributing to the migration of a .NET and Blazor web application to Angular, designing and maintaining high-quality code, collaborating with teams to define and ship new features, ensuring application performance and quality, identifying and fixing bottlenecks and bugs, and maintaining code quality and organization.
This is a full-time, permanent, remote position based in Costa Rica, and does not offer relocation benefits.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in software development.
Extensive experience with Angular and TypeScript is necessary.
Strong proficiency in .NET and Blazor is required.
A solid understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, is essential.
Experience with RESTful APIs and Soap/XML web services is required.
Familiarity with XML Schemas and Web Services Description Language (WSDL) is necessary.
Integration experience with Payment Processors (e.g., Adyen, PayPal) and Captcha Solutions is required.
Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, is necessary.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills are required.
