Remote Software Engineer

Description:

• SmartAsset is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Core Services team, responsible for supporting systems that assist Advisors, validate and deploy leads, and provide custom integrations for enterprise clients.
• The role involves collaborating in a team environment to deliver software using Agile methodology, building and maintaining full-stack enterprise technology solutions, and partnering with the Product team to enhance content creation and delivery processes.
• Responsibilities also include integrating with third-party tools, designing an enterprise Content Management architecture, and identifying opportunities for adopting new technologies or processes to enhance software quality and efficiency.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of engineering experience, proficiency in Java, ReactJS, NodeJS, SQL, and Git, as well as experience with cloud solutions, critical thinking, and excellent communication skills.
• Preferred skills include experience with headless WordPress, NextJS, GraphQL, A/B testing tools, Terraform, and ad serving platforms.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of engineering experience building full stack web applications.
• Strong experience with Java, ReactJS, NodeJS, SQL, and Git.
• Proficiency in designing complex cloud solutions based on AWS.
• Critical and strategic thinking about business, products, and technical challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Enthusiasm for working in a startup environment and being cross-functional.
• Passion for technology and continuous improvement.
