Remote Software Engineer

Description:

• Littlepay, a fintech company based in Melbourne, is seeking a full-stack Software Engineer to join their team.
• The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and delivering web applications and APIs for the e-commerce platform.
• The role involves working closely with the Technical Lead and peers to mentor, collaborate, and conduct code reviews.
• The ideal candidate should be proactive, motivated, and focused on providing exceptional experiences for customers in the transit and mobility sectors.
• Technologies involved include Java, Go, React, TypeScript, and various AWS cloud services.
• The position requires taking ownership of technical solutions, problem-solving in an agile team, advocating best practices, and supporting day-to-day operations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on commercial experience in Java and React.
• Experience in developing and designing for RESTful API and Event Driven architectures.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and interest in UX design.
• Willingness to learn, collaborate, and contribute to product development.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Bonus points for 1+ years of commercial experience in Go.
