Kontakt.io is building a platform that enhances care operations by reducing waste, cutting costs, and improving revenue through better throughput, asset utilization, and staff productivity.
The platform utilizes AI, RTLS, and EHR data to create self-learning agents that automate workflows and adapt in real-time.
The role involves designing and developing user-facing applications for the Kontakt.io platform.
Responsibilities include defining and implementing efficient data models, integrating third-party systems using modern technologies, and creating modular, reusable components.
The position requires collaboration on architectural decisions to ensure scalability and performance, as well as maintaining comprehensive documentation for processes and systems.
The engineer will develop and execute performance tests, support CI/CD workflows, and champion best practices within the team.
Participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation is required to ensure operational continuity.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 6+ years of hands-on experience in designing and developing highly scalable applications using modern languages such as Java/Kotlin.
Experience with Kafka or other message brokers is required.
System design experience and knowledge of Spring frameworks are necessary.
Candidates should naturally follow good development practices like test automation, CI/CD, and source version control.
Experience with development for and deployment to AWS is essential.
A passion for technical challenges and eagerness to explore new technologies is expected.
Candidates must possess the ability to think outside the box and come up with innovative solutions.
Good communication skills in English are a must.
