Description:
- Join NBCUniversal as a Software Engineer in the Legal, Privacy, and Sustainability Engineering Organization within Corporate Technology.
- Develop the Privacy Platform to integrate with various systems for efficient privacy and compliance management.
- Implement a scalable integration system using AWS CDK with TypeScript.
- Maintain RESTful services in AWS for scheduled and event-driven tasks.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code and automated release management for platform scalability.
- Collaborate with Tech lead and senior engineers to ensure the platform meets security and compliance standards.
- Engage in Agile scrum software development, code quality, and best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends related to event-driven architectures and privacy compliance.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and propose innovative solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a software engineer with a focus on backend and middleware solutions.
- 1+ years of experience in AWS and proficiency in Typescript and OOP.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, automated release management, and Git tooling.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel up to 2 weeks a year.
