Description:

Clearer.io is seeking a Software Engineer I for a 1-year temporary position with the potential for permanence based on performance and business needs.
The role involves designing, developing, and deploying features for a cloud-based SaaS platform.
Responsibilities include taking ownership of small to medium-sized projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior engineers.
The position is fully remote and emphasizes collaboration and technical excellence within the engineering team based in Vietnam.
Key tasks include debugging software defects, leading feature development, writing clean code, addressing performance issues, participating in code reviews, and troubleshooting production issues.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent, along with 2-4 years of relevant experience is required.
Experience in e-commerce, particularly with Shopify, is a plus.
Strong expertise in programming principles and design patterns is necessary.
Proficiency in at least one frontend library or framework, preferably React, and experience in building complex UI components is required.
Proficiency in at least one backend language, preferably Node.js/Typescript, and experience in building RESTful and GraphQL APIs is essential.
Experience with database design, optimization, and ORM frameworks is required.
A strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience leading small development teams is necessary.
Proficiency in prompt engineering and experience using AI coding assistant tools in daily work is required.
