Description:
360Learning is seeking a Software Engineer to join their remote team in Spain.
The company has grown from 10 developers to over 60 engineers divided into 10 product squads.
Engineers will face real and complex technical challenges, including managing a significant codebase and high traffic with 2.3 million registered users and 200,000 unique monthly visitors.
The technical stack includes MongoDB, Node.js, and Vue.js, with a current migration to TypeScript.
The role promotes rapid growth within the R&D team through a decentralized peer review process, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
Within the first month, the engineer will discover the 360Learning platform, gain a global view of the codebase, become familiar with team processes, implement initial tickets, and integrate into the peer review process.
By three months, the engineer will join a squad, work on broader functionalities, and enhance skills on the tech stack.
At six months, the engineer will share best practices, create courses on the platform, implement cross-functional tools, and maintain quality standards.
After twelve months, the engineer will onboard new team members, own part of the codebase, work on complex functionalities, and make architectural changes.
Requirements:
Candidates must have significant full stack programming experience, including knowledge of Agile methodologies and SaaS software architecture.
An interest in JavaScript technologies is required, though expertise is not mandatory.
Experience in creating quality user interfaces that are intuitive, efficient, and elegant is essential.
Candidates should be comfortable with algorithms and possess a product-oriented mindset focused on customer experience.
Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills are necessary.
Fluency in English (US/UK) at a B2 level or equivalent is required.
Enthusiasm for the company's working environment is expected.
