Description:
LivePerson is seeking a Full Stack engineer, frontend oriented, to join the Agent Workspaces team, which consists of 6 engineers across Israel, Germany, and Bulgaria.
The role involves building and enhancing the core UI platform using micro frontend architecture, focusing on modularity, scalability, and performance.
Responsibilities include designing and developing innovative, user-facing features to deliver engaging and seamless user experiences.
The engineer will maintain WCAG accessibility certification for the UI, ensuring accessibility for users with varying needs.
Contributions to backend services using Node.js are expected, ensuring smooth integration between frontend and backend components.
The position requires writing efficient, testable, and maintainable code to support dynamic, real-time applications.
The engineer will engage in code reviews to ensure the quality, maintainability, and performance of the codebase.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design user stories, and deliver high-quality features is essential.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is required.
Candidates must have 3+ years of experience with Frontend Web technologies, with Vue.js preferred, and experience with React.js or Angular.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in Object-Oriented Programming (Java, C#, etc.) and Node.js is necessary.
Proven expertise in core JavaScript and modern web development practices is required.
Familiarity with building and maintaining accessible web applications (WCAG) is essential.
Strong hands-on experience with Vue.js or similar frameworks is required.
Proficiency in Node.js for backend development, including working with APIs, databases, and server-side logic, is necessary.
A solid understanding of the full web development lifecycle, from design to development to deployment, is required.
Familiarity with Version Control Systems (e.g., GitLab) and CI/CD practices is necessary.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with a focus on solving complex technical challenges are essential.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in an agile team environment, are required.
A passion for writing clean, maintainable code and continuously improving the development process is necessary.
A strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and commitment to delivering high-quality software is essential.
