Description:

Snapsheet is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Foundational Services Team, which is responsible for developing services within the cloud architecture that serve as fundamental components for customer-facing applications.
The role involves a variety of projects, including user authentication and customer-configured system automation.
Key responsibilities include building a new background job platform with Amazon SQS, developing a webhook feature for the Workflows platform, and planning the implementation of a comprehensive MFA feature for the login flow.
The engineer will also learn about customer support, collaborate with teammates, familiarize themselves with the project management cycle, and contribute to system upgrades, maintenance, and bug fixes.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of fullstack-focused web development experience.
Familiarity with modern technologies such as Ruby on Rails and React is a plus.
Experience in designing and building APIs, designing schemas, and creating performant queries for relational databases is required.
A solid understanding of scalability challenges and performance of server-side code is necessary.
The ideal candidate should be eager to learn from and work with a collaborative team, committed to quality, and passionate about technology and creating cutting-edge solutions.
Ability to manage tasks and contribute to multiple initiatives during a sprint is essential.

This is a 100% remote position.
