Description:

Protegrity is seeking a passionate and self-driven Software Engineer to join their team in Mumbai or Bengaluru.
The role involves collaborating across teams and overseeing Protegrity platform development according to the architecture.
Responsibilities include participating in the development and implementation of product specifications, ensuring feasibility, system integration, and performance expectations.
The Software Engineer will work with stakeholders to determine the needs for new product features and participate in all phases of technology development for product releases.
Mentoring and collaborating with product teams to implement releases in accordance with the architecture is essential.
The position requires adherence to process, quality, and security guidelines, and participation in Agile practices.
Candidates should be adaptable and willing to enhance skills in data security and the product's technical environment.

Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years of post-bachelor’s degree experience in software development is required.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in design, development, testing, and integration of application software using Python and Linux.
A good understanding of Linux OS and internals is necessary.
Experience with programming languages such as Go or Java is preferred.
Knowledge of public cloud technologies like AWS, GCP, or Azure is required.
Familiarity with testing frameworks such as pytest and Robot Framework is essential.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and profiling skills are necessary, along with the ability to review peers' code.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for effective collaboration with teammates.
Good to have skills include knowledge of software performance measurement, software security requirements, and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
