Remote Software Engineer

Description:

• The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing service-oriented, middleware, and infrastructural software in Linux-based environments.
• They will handle software architecture, programming/implementation, integration, testing, packaging, and some documentation.
• The role involves working on Multi-Tiered Architectures and building High Availability/Performance Software.
• The engineer will be involved in building Networked, Daemonized Software and adhering to information security and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Experience with PCI DSS or PA-DSS, PostgreSQL and/or Oracle, Service-Oriented Architectures, Payment or Financial Applications, and Data Processing, Correlation, and Analytics is a plus.
• Proficiency in Linux (or Unix) Software Development, System Operations, SQL Database Development and Operations, Secure Coding Practices, C and C++, Perl, Python, PHP, and/or Bash is required.
• Knowledge of cyber security methods and technologies across the industry is essential.

Requirements:
