Remote Software Engineer

Description:

• The Software Engineer position at FireMon involves designing, developing, and maintaining innovative solutions using Angular and Java technologies for the Asset Management team.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements, writing clean and efficient code, troubleshooting software issues, and contributing to code reviews.
• The role also entails staying up-to-date with industry trends, contributing to process improvement, and working on the full product lifecycle from idea generation to implementation.
• The team works in small groups to support agility and creativity in developing software at scale for network security policy management and device discovery.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Software Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming language, Angular framework, and full-stack knowledge is essential.
• Experience with Linux operating systems, PostgreSQL or other relational databases, cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and cybersecurity principles is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills are necessary for this role.
