Remote Software Engineer

Description:

• Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineer/Developer to lead full stack development efforts using Django and React.
• Collaborating with Production to develop software solutions for tracking and optimizing manufacturing processes.
• Setting up and maintaining infrastructure, including Docker containers, for smooth software development and deployment.
• Engaging in continuous improvement initiatives and implementing best practices in the software development process.
• Coordinating with Engineering and Project Management teams to align software development with project objectives.
• Conducting thorough testing and debugging of software components to ensure high quality and reliability.
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation of software architecture, design, and implementation details.
• Providing training and support to end-users for effective utilization of the software system.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or sufficient experience).
• Proven experience in full stack development with Django, React, and PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in Docker containerization for development and deployment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in the construction or manufacturing industry is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies is preferred.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
