Description:

Join a team building the infrastructure that helps consumers take control of their debt using AI.
The platform assists consumers in managing their debt, from finding better loans to understanding and optimizing repayment plans.
The platform is live, revenue-generating, and growing rapidly, backed by a recent Series A funding.
Responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining core backend systems and APIs for the debt management platform.
Collaborate closely with product managers, data engineers, and compliance teams to deliver features that are performant, secure, and compliant.
Utilize AI tools to automate repetitive tasks, generate boilerplate code, improve documentation, and accelerate testing.
Develop and evolve data models in a document database environment, specifically MongoDB.
Contribute to the CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure to ensure reliable and repeatable deployments.
Collaborate on system architecture and internal tooling to enhance team efficiency.
Review and debug code with a focus on maintainability, performance, and security.

Requirements:

Experience building backend applications using Node.js, either in JavaScript or TypeScript.
Familiarity with document databases, particularly MongoDB.
Knowledge of AWS services and infrastructure management.
Proficiency in Git and CI/CD tooling, such as Bitbucket Pipelines.
A commitment to writing clean, scalable, and testable code while improving surrounding systems.
A mindset of a builder and problem-solver, rather than just a ticket closer.
Ability to leverage AI to enhance personal and team productivity, beyond just following trends.
Comfort in high-autonomy environments with ambitious goals and fast iteration cycles.
