Remote Software Engineer

Description:

• The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-level web applications using PHP (Laravel) and React/NextJS.
• This role involves working on all aspects of software development, including user interface development, object-oriented coding, unit and integration testing, troubleshooting software problems, and resolving software bugs.
• The individual will collaborate with the project manager to identify future needs, develop strategies, implement features for releases, and provide technical expertise to align with business requirements.
• The Software Engineer must demonstrate knowledge of web technologies, work independently, multitask effectively, understand projects from both client and business perspectives, be flexible, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with PHP/Laravel, React/NextJS, common software design patterns, MySQL, Restful APIs, GIT, and AWS.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on high complexity designs and programs.
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills with program managers, tech leads, co-developers, and end-users.
• Ability to understand and navigate the creative process, challenge the status quo, and manage ambiguity and change.
