Back-End Engineers will work on cutting-edge problems, many of which will be open-sourced, contributing to the broader open-source community.
Responsibilities include designing large-scale, multi-tenant distributed control planes for ML and Data processes, modern Golang-based gRPC services, and core algorithms for distributed ML and Data systems.
Engineers will also build distributed scheduling systems on Kubernetes, create simple and elegant APIs for customers, implement high-performance Golang applications, and collaborate with the open-source community and internal teams.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience building scalable, performant distributed services in any strongly-typed language.
Proven discipline in checking in well-tested and well-documented code is essential.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for seamless integration with a global team and the open-source community.
Expertise in maintaining and debugging live software systems is required.
Candidates should have the ability to identify tasks that require automation and carry out the automation process.
