  • As a Software Engineer at Topsort, you will work on building back-end services, APIs, and front-end experiences to support the mission of democratizing auction-based infrastructure.
  • The role involves developing scalable services for running auctions, financial systems, tools for small vendors, big data models, and marketplace integration tools.
  • The technology stack includes Go, PostgreSQL, Typescript, React, View, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • Responsibilities include collaborating on software architecture, implementing technological solutions, improving customer experience, and proposing process or technology improvements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of software development experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in writing professional-grade code and choosing appropriate technologies.
  • Ability to express oneself with precision, transparency, and honesty.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and work outside of direct scope.
  • Familiarity with production services, financial technology, cloud platforms, UI frameworks, infrastructure automation, big data, economics, auction or game theory, functional programming, and security standards.
