The Software Engineer will work closely with the design team and be involved in all stages of software development, including architecture, design, performance evaluation, code review, and internal tool management.
Responsibilities include applying software engineering principles to analyze and design solutions, monitoring system performance, performing risk and reliability analysis, and assessing new technologies.
The role requires creating technical specifications, adopting agile methodologies, developing project plans, maintaining design documentation, and producing production-ready code.
The Software Engineer will also document change management processes and develop API/User Guides for customers.

Requirements:

Proficiency in PHP, Laravel, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is required.
Experience with AWS, EC2, S3, Ubuntu, Nginx, Terraform, and MySQL is necessary.
The candidate must be self-directed and have a history of training other engineers.
Comfort with ambiguous requirements and the ability to make decisions while communicating trade-offs is essential.
Familiarity with project management software such as Jira Software, Confluence, and Slack is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a software development role, preferably in FinTech or data solutions, is preferred.
Experience in adopting Agile methodologies, ensuring proper documentation, and analyzing user requirements is necessary.
The candidate should have experience in monitoring system performance, performing maintenance, and software integrations for existing systems.
Compliance with industry standards and application development for the full software lifecycle is expected.
