Description:

SevenRooms is hiring a remote Software Engineer to develop highly performant, mission-critical systems designed for agile development and rapid scaling.
The role involves partnering with engineers, product managers, and designers to create real solutions that empower SevenRooms for growth.
The position reports directly to the VP of Engineering.
The 7R Technology organization focuses on building products that enhance restaurant experiences.
The tech stack includes Python, Typescript, ReactJS, Redux, Django, App Engine, Cloud Firestore, Memcache, Cloud Tasks, Firebase, BigQuery, and Elasticsearch.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving software with a focus on customer-facing features.
The engineer will be the technical owner of features from design to implementation and ongoing support.
The role requires managing project priorities, deadlines, code quality, and deliverables, along with occasional on-call duties.

Requirements:

A BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field of study, or equivalent professional experience is required.
Candidates must have experience developing web applications.
Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis, and software design is necessary.
A minimum of 3 years of software engineering experience is required.
Experience with Python and ReactJS is preferred but not mandatory.
