The Adaptavist Group is seeking a passionate and talented Software Engineer to join their dynamic team at ScriptRunner.
The role involves designing, building, and maintaining microservices using AWS for Atlassian Cloud apps.
The Software Engineer will work closely with product teams to resolve production issues and ensure service level guarantees are met.
Responsibilities include contributing to engineering best practices, managing the full lifecycle of new functionalities, and focusing on quality and performance.

Requirements:

Proficiency in at least one backend language (Java, Python, PHP, etc.) and one front-end JavaScript/TypeScript framework (React, Angular, Vue) is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration across time zones and teams.
Candidates should be capable of working independently while also being a team player.
Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) is essential for streamlining software deployment.
A strong preference for candidates who thrive in Agile environments and can adapt quickly and efficiently.
Experience with AWS and building cloud-based services is required, with familiarity with other cloud providers being a plus.
Bonus points for experience with Infrastructure as Code, knowledge of the Atlassian Ecosystem, and building high-scale distributed systems.
