Description:

  • The Adaptavist Group is seeking a passionate and talented Software Engineer to join their dynamic team at ScriptRunner.
  • The role involves designing, building, and maintaining microservices using AWS for Atlassian Cloud apps.
  • The Software Engineer will work closely with product teams to resolve production issues and ensure service level guarantees are met.
  • Responsibilities include contributing to engineering best practices, managing the full lifecycle of new functionalities, and focusing on quality and performance.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in at least one backend language (Java, Python, PHP, etc.) and one front-end JavaScript/TypeScript framework (React, Angular, Vue) is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration across time zones and teams.
  • Candidates should be capable of working independently while also being a team player.
  • Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) is essential for streamlining software deployment.
  • A strong preference for candidates who thrive in Agile environments and can adapt quickly and efficiently.
  • Experience with AWS and building cloud-based services is required, with familiarity with other cloud providers being a plus.
  • Bonus points for experience with Infrastructure as Code, knowledge of the Atlassian Ecosystem, and building high-scale distributed systems.
