Remote Software Engineer, Access - Trust

Description:

• Cash App is seeking a Software Engineer for the Access - Trust team to support the rapid growth of the platform and ensure maximum trust and access for users.
• The Access team plays a crucial role in providing financial access to underserved customers by managing authentication, sessions, authorization, and security measures.
• Responsibilities include designing, building, and operating APIs and services for authentication and authorization, evolving architecture to scale with customer growth, collaborating with product management, mentoring team members, and contributing to the tech community.
• The position involves working with technologies such as Java, Kotlin, Golang, HTTP, JSON, MySQL, Kafka, AWS, and more.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in building and operating quality software.
• Demonstrated technical initiative on previous projects.
• Strong communication skills and customer empathy.
• High technical standards in software testing and delivery.
• Growth mindset and comfort with ambiguity.
• Bonus points for experience with product security, working in large codebases, distributed teams, and familiarity with authN/authZ standards.
