Description:

Brave is seeking an experienced software engineer, AI to develop AI-powered browser features.
The role involves evaluating, integrating, and optimizing state-of-the-art language models.
The engineer will work closely with browser development, design, and product teams.
Responsibilities include leading technical evaluation and integration of new LLMs, designing inference pipelines, and collaborating with engineers to integrate AI capabilities.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 2 to 5 years of experience optimizing and deploying ML models in production environments.
A strong software engineering background with production experience in Python is required.
Extensive experience with PyTorch or other modern ML frameworks is necessary.
Knowledge of on-device LLM deployment challenges and opportunities is essential.
A proven track record of shipping ML features in consumer applications is required.
Experience with model optimization and inference frameworks such as ONNX Runtime, TensorRT, or Core ML is needed.
