Description:

  • The company uses reinforcement learning algorithms to convert raw sensor data into high-value actions and decisions.
  • Phaidra enables domain experts to configure AI control systems without writing code.
  • The AI Core team owns the production AI code, including machine learning, search, and reinforcement learning agents.
  • The role involves designing, implementing, and extending significant parts of the production AI algorithms and code base.
  • The position is remote, with team members located in various countries including the USA, Canada, UK, and several European nations.
  • The onboarding process includes a structured program over the first 90 days to familiarize new hires with the company and its systems.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 2+ years of work experience and a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Machine Learning, ideally Deep Learning, is required.
  • Candidates should have expertise in efficient algorithms and data structures, particularly for search problems.
  • Proficiency in production Software Engineering, including fault tolerance and performance tuning, is necessary.
  • Very good knowledge of Python is essential.
  • Candidates must be able to collaborate and communicate effectively in an all-remote setting.
  • A curiosity-driven approach to work, along with ownership, transparency, and customer empathy, is expected.
  • Bonus qualifications include experience with Rust, C++, constraint satisfaction problems, and familiarity with industrial control systems.
