Remote Software Engineer – AI Platform

Description:

• Join ABBYY as a Software Engineer for the AI Platform, working remotely from Hungary.
• Implement and maintain platform components for machine learning systems.
• Build and update infrastructure automation scripts.
• Develop monitoring and logging solutions.
• Support CI/CD pipeline maintenance and assist in troubleshooting platform issues.
• Write automated tests and documentation.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on platform development and participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Contribute to technical documentation and learn about ML platform requirements.
• Help maintain cloud infrastructure for ML workloads and implement infrastructure as code solutions.
• Support container deployment and management, assist in platform monitoring and alerting, and help optimize resource utilization.
• Participate in on-call rotations.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of software engineering experience is necessary.
• Experience with cloud platforms and services is essential.
• Understanding of distributed systems concepts is required.
• Strong programming skills in Python are mandatory.
• Experience with cloud services and Linux systems is needed.
• Basic knowledge of containerization and CI/CD is required.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging systems is necessary.
• Understanding of infrastructure automation and version control with Git is essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
• Good communication abilities and eagerness to learn and grow are necessary.
