As a Software Engineer - Android, you will design and manage the flagship mobile driver app.
You will contribute to redefining the app's architecture and building a world-class offline-first mobile application.
The role requires a forward-thinking mindset focused on high readability code and proactive problem identification.
Responsibilities include developing new features for the Android Motive Driver App, improving existing features like GPS tracking and Bluetooth, and collaborating with the product team on feature specifications.
You will communicate with backend engineers regarding API requirements and support the team in diagnosing user problems.
Analyzing user data to identify bugs is also part of the role.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience working on Android mobile apps.
Experience in Swift, UIKit, custom views, AlamoFire, Reactive Programming, or database/persistence is required.
Good knowledge of software design patterns such as MVVM and Clean is necessary.
Experience working on multiple Android apps is preferred, especially if they have been shipped to the Apple Store.
It is a bonus if the candidate has mentored junior developers through code reviews and technical guidance.
