The AWS Software Engineer will design, develop, and manage the cloud-based services that power the AssistIQ platform.

The engineer will be expected to coordinate with peers and senior executives, collaborating to deliver results in a fast-paced environment that values teamwork, professionalism, confidentiality, and communication.
Responsibilities include designing and enhancing the AssistIQ platform, streamlining deployment processes, supporting production infrastructure, and developing internal tools.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in software development.
A minimum of 3 years of experience building serverless AWS applications and using the AWS SDK, preferably with Typescript for AWS Lambda, is required.
Experience with infrastructure as code using AWS CDK or Terraform for at least 3 years is necessary.
Candidates should have 3+ years of experience monitoring, supporting, and enhancing production applications.
A Computer Science degree, relevant diploma, or demonstrable work experience is required.
Experience in building CI/CD pipelines is essential.
Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL datastores, such as PostgreSQL and DynamoDB, is needed.
Experience with ETL and data pipelines, using tools like DBT or Databricks, is required.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Cloudtrail and Prometheus is necessary.
Expertise in one of the following programming languages: Javascript/Typescript, Python, or Go Lang is required.
Experience in the life science, healthcare, or technology industry is considered an asset.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are mandatory, while French communication skills are an asset.
Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
