Description:
- The software engineer will be responsible for owning features and services related to billing, pricing, and packaging software solutions at Timescale.
- They will design, develop, and maintain Golang-based services with a focus on enabling business software solutions.
- The position is full-time and prefers candidates in Europe or East Coast North American time zones.
- The role involves working on critical services that power managed TimescaleDB cloud offerings.
Requirements:
- Candidates should have at least 2 years of software engineering experience in production environments.
- Strong programming skills in Go and Python, emphasizing solid software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience working on enterprise-level billing, finance, or other business-critical software.
- Proficiency in event-driven architecture and modern API technologies like gRPC and GraphQL.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to testing and quality assurance.
- Comfortable developing in Linux environments and working with containerized applications.
