Description:

Syndigo is seeking a backend software engineer proficient in Microsoft C# and .NET Core to join the engineering team
The role involves developing software application back-end using Visual Studio, C#, and .NET Core
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and enhancing REST APIs for Microservices built on ASP.NET Core
Integration with other APIs, Microservices, and Microsoft cloud technologies like Azure blob storage and service bus
Working with a large existing codebase, writing automated unit tests, and focusing on high-quality, reusable object-oriented code
Collaborating with partner teams to define requirements, develop software, troubleshoot problems, and maintain code
Following Agile and Kanban methodologies for SDLC, maintaining work backlog through JIRA, and translating business requirements into technical specifications
Being part of a larger development team and interfacing with Product, Project, DevOps, and QA teams
Collaborating with team members across multiple geographic locations and time zones

Requirements:

3-5 years of professional experience in developing software using relevant technologies
Proficiency in C# version 8.0 or higher and .NET Core 3.0 or higher
Experience with REST API and Microservices development using ASP.NET Core 3.0 or higher
Strong familiarity with JSON and XML data formats, tools like Postman or Fiddler for API testing
Development experience in Microservices architecture, message and event-driven programming using Service Bus, SQS, etc.
Experience in cloud computing environment, specifically Microsoft Azure, including Azure blob storage, App Insights, Service bus, and other Azure services
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design, and architectural patterns
Familiarity with JIRA for work item management and Git for source control
