Description:

Vanta is seeking a Software Engineer, Backend to help secure the internet and protect consumer data.
The role involves designing and building CI and build systems to ensure robust product development.
Responsibilities include modernizing testing tooling and improving developer experience through tighter iteration loops.
The engineer will address scalability problems related to the build system, developer workflows, and key infrastructure.
The position requires supporting design reviews and communicating constraints to make informed trade-offs.
The engineer will pave the way for new critical infrastructure to support rapid growth.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 3 years of industry experience.
Experience with infrastructure challenges related to scale, reliability, and performance is required.
Previous startup experience or work in an action-oriented environment is necessary.
Experience working on greenfield projects is essential.
An interest in learning about security or prior experience in the security space is preferred.
Candidates should contribute to building Vanta’s engineering culture as the company grows.
