Remote Software Engineer, Backend

Description:

• TrustArc is looking for a skilled Software Engineer, Backend to join their engineering team.
• The role involves participating in the design and implementation of products that assist customers in managing their privacy data and assessing risks.
• The Software Engineer will collaborate with agile teams, including Product Owners, Server Development, and UI Development teams.
• Responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable products, working on performance engineering, and mentoring other engineers.
• The position requires solving complex issues with elegant designs to deliver high-quality products on time.

Requirements:

• A BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Java development with Spring/Hibernate.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and implementing relational schemas in databases like Postgres, MySQL, Oracle, etc.
• At least 3 years of experience leading a team to build and support high-volume web-based products.
• Proficiency in OOP design, Java threading, memory models, algorithms, and data structures.
• Hands-on experience in distributed, microservice-based architecture and data-intensive environments.
• Strong communication skills and experience in RESTful Java Enterprise platforms.
• Experience with unit testing, debugging, mentoring, and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud-based IaaS providers, containers, and open-source software projects.
