Remote Software Engineer Backend

• Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, writing secure and maintainable code, building scalable API interfaces, and monitoring system health.
• The engineer will actively work on AWS cloud infrastructure and mentor other developers within the organization.

Requirements:

• A B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• Candidates must have 5+ years of software development experience.
• An affinity for creating software that is extensible, performant, and easy to read is essential.
• Experience in building product infrastructure, distributed systems, and data models is necessary.
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Go Lang, Java, or a similar programming language is required.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, and Cassandra is needed.
• Experience in building for cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or private clouds is essential.
