Remote Software Engineer (Backend)

Description:

• As a Software Engineer, you will technically enhance the process of getting new clients to production within the Activations squad, which includes integrating with the Clients’ core provider API.
• You will enhance third-party integrations such as Check Book ordering and ACH Transfers, and improve product services.
• You will work with clients to discover nuances in their online account opening process and partner with the product team to account for those nuances in the system.
• You will write clean, thoroughly documented, and well-tested code, focusing on long-term viability and performance.
• You will emphasize error-handling, logging, and edge cases for every service you write.
• You will break down complex product asks into elegant solutions and be comfortable with system design.
• You will provide technical guidance, suggestions, and code reviews for your teammates.

Requirements:

• You must have 3+ years of professional experience writing backend services and APIs.
• A good understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms is required.
• You should have experience with NodeJS.
• You must be well-versed with REST APIs and microservice architectures.
• Good technical and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to self-manage and estimate tasks.
