Remote Software Engineer, Backend - Artist Platform

Description:

• The Software Engineer, Backend position at TIDAL's Artist Platform involves working within a flat and flexible team structure focused on continuous delivery and utilizing sprints and daily stand-ups.
• The role includes architecting modern, scalable, and testable backend solutions using Java frameworks like Spring Boot and Micronaut.
• The engineer will collaborate with various teams, including Product, Front-End, and other Backend teams, to deliver next-gen tools for artists.
• Responsibilities also include researching and implementing technical improvements, analyzing performance optimization, and contributing to a new product empowering musicians with tools for their artistic journey.
• The position reports to the team lead and requires a strong focus on customer needs and effective communication within a team environment.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in architecting and developing scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems.
• Proficiency in Java frameworks such as Spring Boot and Micronaut, along with building REST APIs and experience with serverless technologies.
• Familiarity with tools like AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, IAM, etc.), Terraform, DataDog, and other programming languages like Python, Go, or Rust.
• Strong collaboration and cross-functional skills, self-driven with a preference for teamwork.
