Remote Software Engineer Backend & Data

Description:

• Armis is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software (Data oriented) Engineer to join the Silk (by Armis) team.
• The role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support the analysis and processing of large volumes of data.
• The position offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of cybersecurity, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive actionable insights from diverse data sources.
• Responsibilities include developing ETL processes, optimizing data processing workflows, implementing data quality monitoring, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address business needs.
• The successful candidate will work closely with software engineers to integrate data-driven features into products and services and stay updated on emerging technologies in data engineering.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with a focus on building data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Python programming and experience with relevant libraries and frameworks for data processing (e.g., Pydantic, MongoDB, FastAPI, Redis, Pandas, NumPy, Spark) is required.
• 3+ years of experience with MongoDB and larger data sets (e.g., Terabytes).
• Strong understanding of database systems, with experience in designing and optimizing queries.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and familiarity with services such as S3, ECS, SQS.
• Experience working with large-scale distributed systems and parallel processing frameworks.
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication and collaboration skills.

Benefits:

• Salary range guidance for the position is $163,000 - $210,000.
