Remote Software Engineer - Backend (E5) at Fountain

Help organizations scale and manage their frontline talent with Fountain's automated platform
Work with companies like Stitch Fix, GoPuff, Fetch, and sweetgreen to hire, onboard, and manage workers globally
Be part of the Fountain Worker Experience team, collaborating with product managers, designers, and software engineers
Contribute to the entire product cycle, including planning, architecture, development, and maintenance
Operate within product squads to develop new products using a product-led growth approach
Collaborate in a rapidly growing team with agility and speed, making decisions autonomously
Engage in globally distributed collaboration with teams across different time zones and continents

5+ years of software engineering experience
Proficiency in TypeScript, cloud-first solutions, and product-oriented software development
Strong technical expertise in software development, architecture, and backend development
Ability to work independently and confidently in dynamic situations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, proficiency in French is a plus
Experience in B2B SaaS startup environments and remote international settings preferred
Familiarity with event-driven architectures, serverless architectures, high volume architectures, API strategies, MongoDB, AWS, micro-services, web security, and Agile methods desirable

Competitive salary range: $156,000 - $225,000 USD
