Description:

Glue is a company focused on rethinking work communication by building a smarter work chat platform that reduces noise and integrates AI to enhance productivity.
They are seeking a Backend Software Engineer to join their small team and assist in preparing the product for launch.
The technical foundation includes Golang, GraphQL API, and PostgreSQL, with a focus on usability, attention to detail, performance, and innovation in team communication.
The selected candidate will work closely with the CEO/CTO and the team to make early decisions, set the direction of service architecture, APIs, codebase, and team culture.
Daily shipping and experimentation with ideas and interactions are key aspects of the role.

Requirements:

5+ years of backend development experience.
2+ years of experience designing and maintaining production systems.
2+ years of experience with a typed language like Go, TypeScript, etc.
2+ years of experience working with SQL databases at the application and infrastructure levels.
Experience in designing and maintaining APIs, with familiarity in GraphQL being beneficial.
Independent and self-motivated, with a plus if maintaining side projects or libraries.
