Description:

Migaku is seeking multiple Software Engineers for Back-End, Front-End, and Full-Stack roles to join their team.
The position is fully remote, targeting candidates in APAC and European time zones.
The role involves maintaining and developing new features for various products, including the website, iOS and Android apps, browser extension, and web app.
Engineers will collaborate with team members on integration work across different platforms and interact with users to triage and fix issues.
Responsibilities include writing and maintaining unit and end-to-end tests to ensure high-quality code, contributing to code reviews, and maintaining a product-first mindset to build impactful solutions.
The ideal candidate should be a hardcore language learner and a Migaku user, aligning with the product-driven culture of the company.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a strong passion for language learning, with experience studying an Asian language, particularly Japanese, being a bonus.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development is required.
Proficiency in one or more of the following technologies is necessary: Vue.js or Kotlin, with flexibility based on experience.
Being an active Migaku user is a must; candidates must provide their Migaku account information upon application.
Timezone flexibility is required to collaborate with teams across different time zones.
