The Shop Team manages the checkout flow, search features, filters, and shop page on the FACEIT platform, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Users can discover rewards like gaming gear, gift cards, and in-game items, redeeming FACEIT Points or making cash purchases.
Backend Engineers are responsible for designing and building distributed APIs and microservices, working with a tech stack that includes Golang/Go, GCP, Microservices, and Kubernetes.
Responsibilities include participating in the software development lifecycle, designing and developing APIs, solving complex technical issues, and supporting users with documentation.

Requirements:

Candidates must have current commercial experience with Go/Golang on large scalable projects.
Ability to design distributed APIs and scheduled procedures is essential.
Experience in a large Microservices environment is required.
Excellent knowledge of RESTful/gRPC or APIs is necessary.
A good understanding of Async communication is important.
Proven experience with NoSQL databases is preferred.
Candidates should be able to follow SOLID or DRY principles.
Experience with Docker or Kubernetes is required.
An in-depth understanding of testing is necessary.
Previous experience working on large complex applications is essential.
A passion for video games and esports is a plus.
