Remote Software Engineer

Description:

• Twitch is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Mobile Engineering team to develop native applications for the Android platform.
• The role involves building and delivering new features for the mobile app, contributing to team planning, design, and architecture discussions.
• The engineer will work with modern technologies like Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and GraphQL to enhance the mobile developer platform.
• Reporting to the Senior Manager of Engineering, the engineer will focus on improving engineering processes and measuring the impact of features on user engagement.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of application development experience with some Android development experience.
• Ability to communicate technical problems to both technical and business audiences effectively.
• Proficiency in writing secure, stable, testable, and maintainable code with minimal defects.
