Remote Software Engineer, Billing

Description:

• The Software Engineer, Billing position at PushPress involves contributing to the design, construction, and expansion of the company's critical billing platform that processes significant payment volumes annually.
• The role requires utilizing expertise in Stripe Connect to establish a robust and scalable billing system for the multi-sided marketplace.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with various teams to implement innovative payment solutions that enhance efficiency and growth for the business and its customers.
• Tasks also involve building seamless onboarding experiences for gym owners and members, implementing financial reporting and reconciliation systems, and ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
• The position entails cross-functional collaboration to generate and execute new monetization opportunities.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on billing/payment systems and 2+ years of extensive work with Stripe Connect.
• Expertise in Stripe Connect's APIs, SDKs, and platform architecture.
• Experience in developing complex billing or payment systems for multi-sided marketplaces.
• Proficiency in Node.js, React, TypeScript, and REST API design.
• Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to design scalable architectures, and excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
