Description:
Dandy is transforming the dental industry, which is valued at $200B, by integrating and simplifying every function of dental practices through technology.
The company is hiring a Software Engineer to join its rapidly scaling technology organization.
This position will focus on building industry-defining products and a robust pipeline that manages Dandy’s revenue streams during a period of hyper-growth.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starting, detail-oriented engineer who enjoys working with numbers and code.
The role involves collaboration with other engineers and business partners across the organization.
The technology stack includes TypeScript, React, GraphQL, NodeJS, NestJS, PostgreSQL, GCP, and Stripe.
Responsibilities include designing and developing the full stack of Dandy’s pricing, billing, and payments systems.
The engineer will collaborate with Product Managers and UX Designers to ensure high quality and user experience.
The role requires partnering with business teams to shape pricing and packaging strategies for market expansion.
The engineer will craft code that adheres to internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices.
The position involves delivering product features efficiently within a large code base.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 2+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in a high growth environment.
A solid foundation in software engineering, programming languages, and distributed systems is required.
Attention to detail and a collaborative, pragmatic mindset are essential.
Good communication skills are necessary to articulate technical solutions and business requirements.
Bonus points for experience with billing and payment platforms such as Stripe, Plaid, or Dave.
Familiarity with TypeScript and its ecosystem is a plus.
A basic understanding of PostgreSQL, GraphQL, and/or event-based architectures is also beneficial.
