They have launched in multiple European countries, won awards, and opened offices in London, Bristol, and Amsterdam.
The Engineering team at Laka plays a crucial role in building and operating the platform.
They are looking for engineers to work on developing a microservices platform for cyclists in Europe.
The tech stack includes Node.js, Golang, React, Redux, GraphQL, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP, MongoDB, and Redis.
The role involves building REST APIs, cloud apps/services, and React UIs, collaborating with other teams, and contributing to the success of the business.
Successful candidates are expected to deliver quality code, communicate effectively, champion user empathy, and work collaboratively within a squad.
Requirements:
Commercial experience in backend development using Node.js and Golang.
Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks like React, Next.js, and Redux.
Familiarity with REST APIs and GraphQL.
Comfortable working with SQL databases.
Understanding of the importance of testing, with experience in unit testing and end-to-end testing using Jest and Cypress.
Strong communication skills and a team player mindset.
Willingness to learn, adapt, and use the best tools for the job.
Ability to work effectively within a remote-first team.
