Description:

  • Responsibilities include defining the technical vision, driving innovation, writing clean and optimized code, and creating comprehensive technical design documents.
  • You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate with key music industry stakeholders across various locations.

Requirements:

  • An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer in a software development company is necessary.
  • Frontend development experience in React is required.
  • You must be able to design and implement complex technical systems efficiently across multiple teams.
  • Writing or refactoring code with maintainability and optimization in mind is essential, along with improving test coverage and contributing to high-quality code reviews.
  • You should be able to write comprehensive technical designs that communicate technical tradeoffs and assumptions clearly.
  • Continuous improvement of code quality and systems under your ownership is expected, including defining technical best practices.
  • A proactive approach to delivering better solutions efficiently is necessary.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment are required.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline is necessary, with consideration for candidates with degrees in Physics or Mathematics if they have relevant experience.
