Remote Software Engineer

Description:

• This is a remote position based in India, allowing you to work from home with occasional visits to a GoDaddy office for team events or meetings.
• GoDaddy is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join their engineering team and contribute to innovative software solutions.
• The role involves building and strengthening the Identity team, which manages login, permissions, and user profiles for GoDaddy's global customer base.
• You will collaborate with a team to develop a secure, highly available, fault-tolerant, and globally performant micro-services-based platform on the AWS cloud.
• As part of a scrum team, you will work with various experts, product managers, architects, and sales representatives to enhance system reliability, performance, and management.

Requirements:

• You should have at least 1+ years of experience in a software engineering role, specifically in building large-scale distributed applications or solutions.
• Experience in crafting and implementing RESTful APIs and a solid understanding of microservice architecture is required.
• A minimum of 1+ years of cloud computing experience, preferably with AWS services, is necessary.
• Strong proficiency in Java and experience with the Spring framework are essential.
• A solid foundation in data structures, software design, microservices, and containers is required.
• Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases is necessary.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and standard methodologies, such as Jenkins and Pipelines, is required.
• A BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred, along with validated computer science fundamentals.
